Research mentor — MiliTech Challenge · 2021–2024

Mentored cadet teams of the Korean Science & Technology Reserve Officer corps on aerospace and defense research (reinforcement-learning UAV dogfighting, deep-learning target recognition, loitering-munition design). A mentored team won the Grand Prize (Minister of National Defense Award) at the 5th MiliTech Challenge (2024) with a study on data-driven model predictive methods for multirotor drones, and another mentored team received an Encouragement Prize at the 2024 Korea Air Force Academy Future Aerospace Conference (sponsored by Hanwha Aerospace).
